Palmdale High Guard Is Without Remorse

October 11, 2007

Chris Niemeyer (Palmdale High Guard implicated in school assault) finally speaks:

"I’m not racist and never have been. The issue that occurred at Pete
Knight High School has nothing to do with race. I don’t see color, I
see people…Accusations that were made regarding myself are false. I thought I
handled the situation professionally and I don’t second-guess my
actions."

Read the story here:

Unbelievable.  Maybe he hasn’t seen the video footage.  The video showing how he slammed Pleajhia Mervin down on that cafeteria table and pulling her arm back to the high point of her shoulder blade.  Or the picture of him forcing the young man who caught him on video tape to the ground.  Because that is the only way I can see for him to believe that he acted professionally.

Let’s not forget the reported cause of the assault and arrest of this young lady was that she didn’t clean up her birthday cake to Niemeyer’s satisfaction.

Niemeyer has no credibility in this matter, and for that matter either does the school board and police department.  Pleajhia has been expelled, 3 students have been charged with attempted battery, and the victim’s (Pleajhia Mervin) mother has been put on leave from her school system job.

Let’s get real people. The battle for our rights begin in the schools.

Interesting, but I attended the Press Conference today at the courthouse and what I witnessed, was race baiting, using this case to exploit tensions. A call to have the Principal fired along with the Black Mayor of Lancaster, the Rev. Henry Hearns, because the mayor has not rushed to the same judgement. I filmed and recorded audio today and something here is not quite right!

No broken wrist. No unnecessary force. No charges against Niemeyer.

    so it goes

I can’t tell if you are defending Niemeyer, but in the event you are, here are some inconsistencies to review:

First the doctor who now says there was no broken wrist, is the same doctor who put the arm in a cast and sling. The video details a definite use of unnecessary force. And that there are no charges for Niemeyer yet is a reflection on the police departments dereliction of duty.
